Fabrice, first pilot
Settled in Saint Vincent de Cosse since 2016, where he opened guest rooms with his wife Stéphanie, he created his hot-air ballooning business in 2018 with Vol en Ballon.
With a pilot’s license since 2016, obtained after solid training, he flies in a hot-air balloon whenever the weather permits, and today he has chosen to share it with his guests and visiting travelers.
Sébastien, second driver
With good experience as a crew member, Sébastien was keen to take the controls and obtained his hot-air balloon pilot’s license in 2020. Today, he is our 2nd pilot, and will take you aboard our hot-air balloon, taking over from Fabrice.
Ground crew
The crew member’s role is to help you prepare for takeoff, and to follow you from the road to your landing site. He’s what we call the “retriever”.
He also takes care of packing up the balloon after landing, with the help of the passengers and the pilot.
Our hot-air balloons
Vol en Ballon has 2 hot-air balloons: one equipped with a basket for up to 4 passengers plus the pilot, and the other with a basket for up to 6 passengers.
Vol en Ballon has declared its activity as a passenger air carrier to the DSAC (Direction de la Sécurité Aérienne Civile), in accordance with current regulations. Operator no. : FR.DEC.437
